The entire process of purchase from PIMAX has been a HUGE disappointment by any standards..
When initially purchased February 4th, 2020 the 8k+ package ($1700us) was shown on the website as "in-stock". Months later I was later notified by them that I would need to add an additional $100us for state taxes to ship that wasn't disclosed at original time of purchase..
Three months after PIMAX banking my money, I finally received
the headset only.
NO base stations, NO controllers, NO upgrade audio, NO explanation or conformation on when to expect the rest of the order. To date, I still have not received the balance of my order (4/24/2020).
Zero communications initiated on their side.
Unfortunately, PIMAX will NOT survive as a viable business if they continue to provide the TERRIBLE customer support experienced by myself and many others as indicated on this forum.
I write this hoping to enlighten others that are considering purchase from PIMAX.
